New Norfolk Cheese launches this month
A Norfolk cheese maker is launching a new cheese this month with a continental influence. Copys Cloud, a Camembert style cheese , is being launched by North Norfolk cheese maker Catherine Temple.
“We are just wrapping it and sending it to market for the first time; it’s has a lovely fluffy white coat with a melting middle.”
The continental influence is not stopping there, as later this month a French cheese maker is visiting the dairy to explain the intricacies of making Epoisses
Another Norfolk cheese which has a continental feel is made by Willow Farm Dairy (formerly Poppylot Farm Dairy) who hand make the award winning brie-style Norfolk White Lady from ewe’s milk.
Mrs Temples cheese won Bronze medals in the 2008 British Cheese Awards for Melton, Warham Tomato and Binham Blue. Mrs Temples cheese can be bought from Sycamore Farm Shop at Hempnall and will also be on sale at the Reepham Festival on Saturday 1st August
