Farm tours, machinery displays and lots of free activities for the kidsat our farm open day 2009. Based at Frettenham Village Hall, with freeparking. Refreshments available. Come and learn about Sustainable Energy and Cheese production at the home of Mrs Temples Cheese. Tours begin 10-30 am to 12-30 Farmyard stroll to see the dairy herd, cheeseroom, biomass boiler systems and the new Anaerobic digestor which will produce biogas to generate electricity. Our neighbours will stage displays related to the crops which they produce in the village, and their other activities such as water harvesting, and tourism. Drought and shade resistant garden planted by Blacksmiths Cottage Nurseries. Entrance Donations for Wighton Village Fundraising Committee Light Refreshments. Garden party games and tabletop sale. We are at the east end of Wighton , which lies between Wells and Walsingham, and will put out signposts. You can find plenty of attractions locally to add to a great day out. Suggested donation £5 per car.
