Herring Fayre

Celebrate the glory days of Great Yarmouth's fishing industry and recall
a time when the quayside was bustling with herring girls and fishermen
unloading tons of ‘silver darlings’.Find out about the town's medieval
herring fairs snd enjoy talks, cookerydemonstrations, story telling, archive film
shows, fun family craft activities.  Explore the award-winning museum with
original smokehouses and take part in a herring packing challenge and try your hand at rope-making. The Silver Darlings cafe will serve home cooked food all day.
