British Food Fortnight in Norfolk 20th September – 5th October 2008

Food, Farming and the Countryside Open Day at HFG Farm Shop at Blofield 20 September 10.30am – 4pm
An opportunity to learn more about fruit and vegetable production, enjoy tractor and trailer rides, meet rare breed animals and meet local producers at the free event.

Aylsham Food Festival
3rd - 5th October 2008
Aylsham Food Festival is now in its third year and the 2008 programme looks more exciting than ever.  
Starting with a dinner at Aylsham High School and featuring Kids Cooking Workshops, a Cooking Theatre, Barn Dance, Aylsham’s FARMA-accredited Farmers’ Market and the famous Slow Food Big Breakfast, the 3-day Festival will have something for everyone, young and young at heart.
 
Forest Heath Food Festival: 20 – 27 September
A week-long celebration of local food, produce and producers across the district. The aim of the event is to bring together hotels, pubs, restaurants and retailers, as well as food and drink producers to promote the wide variety of food available in the district and to inform local shoppers about the benefits of eating healthily and buying locally.
There will be exciting events throughout the week across the district, all related topromoting local food. Additionally there will be various competitions for children to get involved with and farmers’ markets in Mildenhall and Newmarket
