CHAIRS an exhibition by two Norfolk artists
A gold velvet boudoir chair picked up for a few pounds at an antique shop has inspired a Norfolk husband and wife artistic team to collaborate on their very first themed exhibition together.
CHAIRS AN EXHIBITION which is being staged at the Hillside Gallery near Fakenham features recent photographic work by Keith Osborn selected for the prestigious “Through the Lens Exhibition” together with printed chair textile work and paintings by wife Debbie.
“Chairs have their own personalities” says Keith “they come in a huge array of shapes and sizes and tell their own personal story; unlike a bed or a table.”
A wicker chair Debbie has owned all her life, an old chaise longue a kitchen chair and many others will be available to sit on and view the exhibition, which will also feature chair work by a small number of selected local artists
