Produced In Norfolk have been delighted to take part in Norwich City Council’s research on Doing Business in Norwich
The Guild conducted the research project funded by the Local Enterprise Growth Initiative (LEGI), to establish the extent to which large businesses in Norwich buy from small, local suppliers. The report presents the findings from the research and makes encouraging reading for PIN’s food and drink producers with catering services coming out as the strongest (48%) goods and services large businesses purchased from smaller local companies within Norfolk. Director of PIN Jane Miller said “PIN still has some work to do in convincing the other 52% of large businesses that Norfolk food and drink offers great value, reduces carbon footprints and can help make the local Norfolk economy more sustainable. As finalists in the EDP Norfolk Toursim Awards for best Industry supplier we welcome interest from employers in Norfolk who wish to provide good quality traceable local food for their workforce.”
