Food and Ale Fringe

Sunday 14th October        10-7pm

A new addition to the Bidwells Norwich and Norfolk Food Festival

This Autumn we are thrilled that there is a welcome addition to the promotion of local produce, beer, cider and Perry in Norfolk, The Food and Ale Fringe event incorporating the Golden Triangle Farmers’ Market which will be held on Sunday October 14, 10-7pm, at Earlham Shopping Centre, Norwich. Many Produced In Norfolk members have sold very successfully at the market since it started in February and will also be taking part in the demonstrations in the marquees.
Headlining in the food marquee will be Produced In Norfolk award winner and member Vanessa who owns and runs the much-heralded Stratton’s Hotel, Swaffham, Norfolk. The Ale marquee will host the effervescent Barley grower Teddy Maufe owner of the fantastic Real Ale shop, who will be talking about his crusade to make people aware of the barleylicious county of Norfolk and also guiding visitors through tastings of the beer from the nine brewers he supplies barley to. Upwards of nine brewers, cider and Perry makers will sell their wares in the marquee.
We hope this is the first of what promises to be a fantastic occasion promoting all the lovely produce we have in Norfolk and that many more customers will be introduced to the delights of what is available to them locally. Judging by the continued success of the Golden Triangle Farmers’ Market they are hungry for more!
