Dragons Den for PIN Junior Friends

Award winning young entrepreneurs Merry Mugshots, Junior Friends of PIN, have stepped into the Dragons Den to raise funds for appearing in the 2007 PIN brochure.

Mirroring the BBC2 series in which budding entrepreneurs pitch their wares in front of millionaires with cash to invest, in the hope of obtaining capital investment, PIN held a mock Dragons Den for the Merry Mugshots.

Two PIN Directors who are at pains to point out, are not millionaires, listened patiently as 15 year olds Hannah  and Vicky made a bid to raise over  £40-00 for featuring in the PIN 2007 brochure.

The girls had practiced their pitch  in advance  “It was extremely well presented and I was impressed with their openness and the way they conduct their Board meetings” said PIN Dragon Simon Robinson.

After a ten minute grueling, the Dragons each offered to contribute 50% of the capital required, providing the girls contributed an equal amount of their time as a gift to PIN.

“I am over the moon and very proud” explained an excited Hannah after leaving the Den.

“Being successful has given me more confidence” said Vicky.

PIN is committed to encouraging young entrepreneurs and offers Junior Friends membership to entrepreneurs under the age of 18 and reduced membership rates for entrepreneurs under the age of 30
