Ruthanne Tudball

Individual pots. Those for the kitchen are hand thrown in stoneware, manipulated, altered and assembled while wet on the wheel to capture the soft organic quality of the clay and preserve that softness in the finished piece. All of the work is soda vapour glazed in a wood/gas kiln.

Handthrown stoneware. Each piece is individually thrown at my small workshop in Oby. Pots are then decorated with colourful glazes or incised decoration which is inlaid with glaze and fired to stoneware temperatures. A list of shows and outlets can be viewed on my website.
