Woad-inc - ian's natural colour Ian and Bernadette Howard are re-establishing natural blue pigment production from woad in the heart of Boudicca's Iceni countryside. They commission fabulous homewares and clothing for dyeing with woad without the use of harmful chemicals. Each item is woad-dyed. Additionally, woad seed oil is incorporated in their range of toiletries. An exhibition on woad processing and shop are open to visitors at Easter and from 1st May to Christmas, Thursday to Saturday and Bank Holiday Mondays, 10am to 4pm. Large group visits with refreshments by arrangement, regular dyeing workshops, talks and commissions.
Derrick Ibbot. When I design furniture I aspire to produce a timeless piece that is tactile with clean lines and smooth surfaces, sometimes using flowing lines and inlay. Native and European hardwoods are my preferred timber and working with decorative veneer. I have an interest in using local timber and a preference for natural oil finishes.

Exclusive ladies' hats and bags in authentic 1920's, 30's, 40's and 50's vintage styles. My glamorous hats are handmade to museum quality standards using original materials and techniques wherever possible. Every one is unique. An expert in the Art Deco period, I also offer a range of other design services including Period Lifestyle Consulting, Interior Design and Restorations,Graphic Design & Illustration. Handmade greetings cards and prints of my illustrations are also available. I have worked in the Heritage Industry, Theatre & TV, Commercial Art/Graphic Design, Education, Photographic Styling, and the Vintage Market, for 25 years and have a solid background in art and design practise and history. I use traditional skills wherever possible with minimal use of digital techniques.
