Individually made Freshwater Pearl and Gemstone necklaces, bracelets and earrings with Sterling Silver and 9ct Gold. Each piece is created with care, using traditional methods of knotting and stringing. Wire and chain work is used for some designs to give a more contemporary feel. Most pieces are one-off designs. Much of the work shows imaginative combinations of gemstones and pearls with lots of interesting silver and gold beads and some gorgeous clasps. When I design furniture I aspire to produce a timeless piece that is tactile with clean lines and smooth surfaces, sometimes using flowing lines and inlay. Native and European hardwoods are my preferred timber and working with decorative veneer. I have an interest in using local timber and a preference for natural oil finishes.
