About Us

Produced in Norfolk is a not-for-profit producers’ co-operative, launched in May 2005 and made possible by funding from defra, Norfolk businesses and local people working voluntarily in the County.

We actively promote products that are genuinely made in the County and work to open new markets for Norfolk businesses locally, nationally and abroad. We link consumers to the skilled local people who are our members and research markets to gain a better understanding of consumers needs and respond appropriately.

Opportunities to network across the County and in more local groups encourage the development of local supply chains and provide business support. We facilitate training across a wide spectrum, often at no or little cost to participants and offer help and advice on marketing and increasing sales, together with regular members newsletters

Membership

Membership is open to producers who make food, gift and craft products in Norfolk with some substantive creative input. Accredited members pay an annual subscription, with reduced rates for young entrepreneurs and new businesses. Associate membership is available to businesses or individuals who support and promote our aims and objectives.

Sustainable communities

We anticipate that the success of this project will safeguard over 1000 rural jobs in the County, create more sustainable tourism and lead to a more sustainable rural economy for communities in Norfolk.
